This is what Joseph does when I'm not home... should I be concerned?
I think this was "Imitate Napoleon Dynamite Day".
Tyler helped us can lots and lots of food storage!
I'll never forget how he sealed the can to the canning machine and had to use a rubber mallet to get it off. Tensions were a bit high, but he didn't swear once! That would have been a miracle in my family....
Thankfully Emeline has some amazing muscles that made canning easy....
"I can't put my arms down!"
Draper Temple tour, March 2009
Awww.... ain't he cute?
Joseph created a "Scrubbot" to help him clean his bathroom. Check out his blog for the full demonstration... it's pretty amazing.
Late night, passed out on the couch waiting for mom to stop working....
All my children....
Joseph dressed up like a woman in honor of President's Day. Yeah, I didn't get it either....
They decided they needed a perch. Joseph suggested we build a shelf that could be suspended from the ceiling in the living room, but I thought the top of the fridge might work better. Notice the basket used to transport goods from a rope... isn't it great to be a kid?
If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.
