We went to a family ball last month (the one where I was mistaken for a 16 year old). When we were getting dressed, Emeline said, "All the boys will think I am so beautiful that they will all want to ask me to dance!" I said, "Yes, I'm sure they will. But if they don't ask you to dance, will you still think you are beautiful?" She replied, quite confidently, "Yes!"
Well, "all the boys" really did think she was quite beautiful-- Emeline was asked to dance several times by three lovely beaus and had a wonderful time.
If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.
